The various interventions over the years have resulted in the facilities provided and the coverage of the region as shown:

CWSA – DiMES (2019)

The following factors have been identified to improve delivery of water services:

• Continuous Advocacy to Assemblies and communities to roll out to other Small Towns Water Systems
• Availability of Private Sector players such as Drillers, Spare parts Dealers, Pump and pipe specialists in region.
• Controls to prevent water source pollution and payment for cost of pollution by offenders backed by laws.
• District Assemblies to play lead role in coordinating activities of stakeholders and reporting on their activities for compliance to standards and guidelines
• Budgetary provision for hygiene and sanitation promotion by all corporate bodies to support DAs, and Communities in their operational areas.
• Civil Society/NGOs to intensify advocacy and campaign to support the Programme especially in the fulfillment of social obligations by corporate bodies or investors
