The Agency in 2017 undertook reforms in its operations and moved into the management of water systems on a pilot basis. An initial number of 13 water systems were taken on board and subsequently the number was increased to 15. The Western/Western north regional office has thus deployed staff to all the 15 water systems throughout the region. New offices have been opened in all these communities increasing the visibility and expanding the operations of the Agency beyond the DWST and WSMT concept.
