Mr. Kwame Sekyi-Akomea holds a Master of Administration degree in Governance and Sustainable Development and a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) both from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana (CHIRM) and also an accredited member of  the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR).

He joined the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) in 1995 as an Administrative Clerk where he assisted in restructuring the Agency’s registry and developed a new record filing system.

Through hard work, determination and perseverance, he served in various positions within the Administration & Human Resource Department and rose through the ranks till his appointment as the Human Resource Manager in 2012. He was the acting Director, Administration & Human Resource in 2021 till his appointed as the substantive Director, Administration & Human Resource in January 2022.

He has 28 years working experience in the public sector coupled with both local and international management capacity building workshops. He has gathered an enviable wealth of experience and skills which have proven to be an invaluable asset to CWSA.
