Ms. Esinu Ama Tsagbey is a Professional Information Technology Specialist with over 28 years of practical expertise in the application of Information and Communications Technology in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) service delivery.  She has remarkable abilities in the creative use of technology in fulfilling business needs.

Ms. Esinu holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology (Open University, Malaysia), Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA – Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)), Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi).

Ms. Esinu has also obtained professional certifications in several disciplines including IT Service Management (ITIL4), Data management and Analysis, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Ms. Esinu is a member in good standing of the Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

She has worked with the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) since its establishment, and rose through the ranks from working at the regional level as MIS Specialist, to her current position as Chief IT Specialist and heading the IT Unit at the Head office.

Ms. Esinu has led and also participated in several monitoring and evaluation activities leading to the development of M&E systems to facilitate data collection, processing and management. She is a member of the M&E Technical Working group at the Sector Ministry (MSWR) to support the establishment of a Sector Information System. She has a track record of leading high performing teams in executing IT related projects and has through this spearheaded the harmonization of projectized MIS/M&E systems into an integrated management information system in the rural water sub-sector.

Ms. Esinu is an excellent trainer and delights in building capacities of others in the use of Application Software, Smart Solutions, M&E tools, data collection instruments etc. to enhance operational performance. She is result-oriented and has an in-depth knowledge in Data Analysis and Visualisation.
